There was plenty of change on the list of most sold Amazon books from Sept.13

It’s another week, and that means more changes on the list of most sold Amazon books. There was plenty of change between Sept. 13 and 19, and it wasn’t all about Dune.

We do have to mention Dune, though. The Frank Herbert novel reentered the list of most read books during last week, so we knew it would likely reenter this list. What we didn’t quite expect was for the trailer of the new movie to push the book all the way to the top of the list.

Midnight Sun held onto second place. Dog Man: Grime and Punishment had gained that top spot during the previous week, but lost three places to land in fourth place. Shadows in Death by J.D. Robb entered in third place, which isn’t surprising considering it was the only new book on the list of most read Amazon books last week.

The Top 10 saw the entry of Fredrik Backman’s Anxious People and Ruth Ware’s One by One. They certainly weren’t the only new books or reentries on the list, though. The bottom of the list saw a good number of new entries too.

With new entries, it meant that there were a few books dropping on the list. The Lying Life of Adults by Elena Ferrante lost eight places after entering just last week. It was the biggest drop of the week, but Squeeze Me by Carl Hiaasen wasn’t far behind losing seven places.
