Dune is on the list of most read Amazon books last week

With the arrival of the trailer last week, it shouldn’t be surprising that the Dune novel is back on the list of most read Amazon books. Here’s a look at the Top 20 books from Sept. 13 to 19.

Dune by Frank Herbert reentered well, landing in ninth place on the list. It certainly meant some upset for the Harry Potter books, although Dune is not solely to blame.

All the Devils Are Here by Louise Penny moved up the list after entering well during the previous week. It gained seven places to just narrowly miss out on the Top 5. Where the Crawdads Sing by Delia Owens moved up two places though to reclaim fifth place, meaning a number of Harry Potter books were knocked down the list.

In fact, two Harry Potter books were knocked out of the Top 10 completly. Chamber of Secrets saw the biggest drop out of the seven books, losing four places to land in 13th place.

It wasn’t the biggest drop overall. The Last of the Moon Girls by Barbara Davis lost five places, dropping into 20th place.

There was one new book to make it to the list during the week. J.D. Robb, Nora Roberts’s psydonym for the In Death series, released Shadows in Death. It made it into 14th place during its first week but could move up this week.

It was certainly an eventful week in read books.
