Utopia is among the shows and movies joining Amazon Prime Video this week
We’re heading into a new week, which means you’re looking at what’s available to stream on Amazon Prime Video. There are plenty of great new additions from Sept. 21 to 25.
Usually, during this week of the year, we’d get ready for the arrival of new seasons of our favorite broadcast shows. That’s completely different this year, with the majority of shows not returning until November 2020.
Amazon Prime Video has us covered with plenty of content to keep us busy, though. There are two movies and three Amazon Originals.
Two movies joining Amazon Prime Video
Everything kicks off on Sept. 22 with the arrival of The Addams Family. This is the 2019 animated movie that is perfect for the whole family. It doesn’t lose the charm of the original movies or the TV show, especially when it comes to Morticia and Gomez.

There’s also an excellent story of acceptance, and not necessarily believing everything you hear. The estate agent really needs to rethink her life choices.
The second movie is Judy, the biographical movie about Judy Garland. Renée Zellweger plays the titular role, set 30 years after the success of Wizard of Oz, looking to reminisce and enjoy life. You’re waiting until Sept. 25 for this movie.
Three Amazon Originals
Two of the Amazon Originals are new episodes of shows with weekly releases. The Boys Season 2, Episode 6 drops on Sept. 25. It’s time to see what Homelander and Stormfront are like now that they have the same goal in mind. Things are not looking good for anyone who isn’t white.
Prime Rewind: Inside The Boys is the next Original to watch. The episode will breakdown Episode 6 of the series, with a few special guest stars to talk about their characters and the storyline.
The third Amazon Original is a new series, Utopia. All eight episodes of the season will drop at once, unlike The Boys, so you’ll get to binge-watch. Check out the promo for Utopia below:
