There’s another thriller coming to Amazon sometime in the future. The streamer has acquired the rights to All the Old Knives. What do we know about the thriller so far?

The movie, which will be based on the novel of the same name by Olen Steinhauer, is a spy thriller set in Carmel-by-the-Sea. The two leads are former lovers, one an ex-spy and the other a current spy. When they meet for dinner, they reminisce about the past.
However, there’s something else to discuss at the same time. The Royal Jordanian Flight 127 had recently been hijacked, leading to the deaths of everyone on board. It’s a CIA failure that still haunts everyone, especially Henry, who wants to close the book on the whole thing.
Could it be that his ex-lover was involved? Will either of them survive their mean?
It’s certainly a movie for those who love spy dramas and those with a few twists here and there.
When will All the Old Knives be on Amazon Prime Video?
What’s not clear yet is when the movie will be released. It’s not been filmed yet, so it makes sense there’s no release date just yet. We’ll get to know more when filming is able to take place.
What is also unclear is how it will be released. Amazon Original movies have been released in a variety of ways. Some get traditional theatrical releases (like Beautiful Boy), while others get a couple of weeks in theaters before heading to Amazon Prime Video (like The Aeronauts). Then there are others that head straight to Prime.
It’s possible this will get at least the two-week window in theaters if not a traditional release. However, it will likely only head to Amazon Prime Video after that.
