Charmed Season 2 is coming to DVD in September 2020

The Charmed Season 2 DVD release date is set for September 2020

Are you missing the magic? You can soon get it in your own home without paying for Netflix each month. Charmed Season 2 is heading to DVD later this month.

The official Charmed Season 2 DVD release date is Sept. 29, 2020. There’s not that much longer to wait. You can pre-order the complete season on Amazon right now, grabbing the Price Guarantee at the same time.

It is currently only set for DVD release. This doesn’t mean the Blu-ray won’t come at a later date, but it’s not planned right now. Young Sheldon and many other shows have only received DVD releases so far, too.

And just to clarify, this is for the new CW series. You can still get all eight seasons of the original series as a complete set.

The season picked up with a reset. Mel, Macy, and Maggie had to move from their Michigan home to Seattle. It was all in the name of protecting their lives, but it did mean a loss of their powers and the Power of Three.

How would they get their powers back without the Elders around? And what would it mean for Macy with her demon powers?

Meanwhile, the season introduced a new potential foe. It was time to meet Parker’s half-sister Abby. Oh, she is a delight.

Catch up before Charmed Season 3

The CW renewed the magical series back in January 2020. This was before anyone new the shows would have to shut down for production, which meant plans could be made to ensure there was a storyline for another season.

There is going to be a delay. While Charmed Season 3 has the green light to film, that hasn’t started yet. The show isn’t slated to air until January 2021, so there’s plenty of time. You’ll also have plenty of time to catch up on the second season with the DVD.
