We do have some bad news. There’s nothing new dropping on Aug. 15 or Aug. 16. Instead, the focus will be on the new content that dropped during the week.
The most notable addition is World’s Toughest Race: Eco-Challenge Fiji, the new Amazon Original reality series. The show is created by the man behind Survivor and is a mixture of that reality show and The Amazing Race.
There were also some new movies added to the streaming service during the week. You’ll get the time this weekend to check them out.
Turn to Amazon Channels
There are plenty of Amazon Channels with new content over the weekend. Or they’ve had content drop during the week that you’ll want to check out.
Sundance Now released the penultimate episode of The Secrets She Keeps on Thursday, Aug. 13. The finale will drop next week, so this is a good chance at the weekend to stream all five episodes ready for it.
Recently, The Nest finished on Acorn TV. Use this chance to binge-watch the entire season.
The first two Men In Black movies are on STARZ as of Aug. 15. Whether you’ve seen them once or a thousand times, they never get old, especially the first one. The 1982 version of Annie also dropped today on STARZ, so now is a good chance to relive your childhood favorites.
Of course, the big release of the weekend has to be Birds of Prey. It’s out on HBO and HBO Max on Aug. 15. Then on Sunday, Aug. 16, the Lovecraft Country series premiere airs. We know you’ve been waiting for this!
