What is World’s Toughest Race: Eco-Challenge Fiji?
Bear Grylls will host the series, which seems a little like The Amazing Race but tougher. It’s also a reboot of the 1995 series, which was also hosted by Grylls. Oh, and it comes from the mind of Survivor who was also the mastermind of the original series, so you’ll get an idea of what to expect from that fact. The show’s producers have most definitely gone to extreme lengths to find some of the most grueling parts of Fiji, whether it’s through water, climbing mountainsides, or hiking.
Over the course of 10 episodes, we’ll watch 66 teams from 30 different countries travel through Fiji. All teams have one thing in mind: to prove they are the world’s toughest challengers.
They will race throughout 11 days across hundreds of miles of the Fijian terrain. They’ll have to decide how and when they’ll rest and how they’re going to make it through the various challenges along the way.
Just check out the trailer to see what to expect when the show drops on Friday.
