We’re still waiting for Animal Kingdom Season 5. While there were some episodes filmed, not all were done before the coronavirus pandemic shut things down. It’s not clear when we’ll get the fifth season will premiere, so this Amazon release is certainly going to help through the drought.
What to expect in Animal Kingdom Season 4
We’ll keep this spoiler-free, as there are some major storylines towards the end of the season that you’ll want to watch unruined. However, the season kicks off with the Codys attempting to pull off their most ambitious bank robbery yet. Can it go off without a hitch?
Meanwhile, Deran involves Adrian in the family business. Nobody can escape this. However, J is trying, testing out a new identity outside the family. That’s not to escape the family, though. He has a bigger game plan.
There is some extra Smurf backstory throughout the season. And for Emily Deschanel fans, she steps in the role of Angela, who has a connection to the Cody family. After years of watching her on Bones, it’s fun to see her take on another role entirely on Animal Kingdom.
This is a season with mixed reviews, but it’s still more than worth the watch.
