All 10 episodes of the second season are available. You can relive the story of a young Annie Wilkes, as she travels from town to town with her daughter Joy. Along the way, Annie switches license plates and the two never stay in one place for long.
They only stop if they need to. It may be because Annie needs to top up her medications or due to a car accident. Car trouble is the thing that takes Annie to Castle Rock, where she comes across far more than she expected. Can she protect her daughter from the demons in the town and the demons of her past?
Lizzy Caplan is amazing as Annie Wilkes, capturing everything Kathy Bates brought us but only at the start of her journey of poor mental health and trauma. Tim Robbins stars as Reginald “Pop” Merrill, a local businessman who is dragged into a fight when his nephew Ace digs up a few secrets.
Paul Sparks plays Ace, with Barkhad Abdi as Abdi Howlwadaag, Yusra Warsama as Dr. Nadia Howlwadaag, Matthew Alan and Chris Merrill, and Elis Fisher as Joy.
Bonus features on Castle Rock: The Complete Second Season
There’s only the one bonus feature on the DVD and Blu-ray boxsets. It’s all about Annie Wilkes, with a featurette that delves into the mystery of the character.
