Hanna Season 2, Episode 3 recap: Hanna questions loyalty
Can Hanna trust Marissa on Hanna Season 2, Episode 3?
The storylines start to converge on Hanna Season 2 with the third episode. It’s time for Hanna to head to The Meadows, but will she do it alone or with Marissa by her side?
We start off with John learning about the attack at the trial from the previous episode. Everyone is blaming the person whose name was on the form, but it’s soon clear that this girl wasn’t involved. It doesn’t take long for her to identify Hanna.

Knowing Hanna is alive, John calls Marissa with the news. He also calls Sonia to keep an eye on Marissa and track Hanna. That leads Sonia to Hanna, who has found out a shipment of drugs is being sent to The Meadows.
Marissa steps in to kill Sonia, so now the two can follow the truck to get to The Meadows. After all, Marissa doesn’t know the location of the training facility.
Clara has to make a choice
Do we call her Clara or Clemency now? We’ll stick with Clara for now.
Clara is in isolation while John figures out what to do with her. Will they need to kill her? Terri is the one who figures out what Clara needs. While talking, Clara made a point to Terri that Clara didn’t grow up with a mom. So, Leo and Terri arrange for a letter from Clara’s mom to Clara.
This is the perfect way to lure Clara in. Clara’s “mom” makes her believe that she should be part of this training facility.
At the same time, Sandy is reading the Bible, something Leo had left behind for her. She reads a chapter about forgiveness, which makes her ask to talk to Clara. Sandy is willing to forgive Clara for everything. As Clara feels jealous about the friendship the girls have, she decides to join in.
Hanna heads to The Meadows
Marissa manages to get fake Canadian passports for Hanna and Clara. The idea is to get them to Canada, where they should be safe. However, things go wrong.
While following the pharmaceutical truck to The Meadows, Marissa gets a call from John. Hanna decides to search Marissa’s bag, where she finds the card from John Carmichael. Hanna starts to guess that Marissa is working with John to bring her in.
We know differently, don’t we?
Hanna decides she needs to do the next step on her own. She fights Marissa, strangling her to the point of passing out, and then uses Marissa’s car to get on the ferry to England. She needs to keep following that truck.
She’s led straight to The Meadows, where she breaks into the facility, finding Clara with the other girls. Just as Clara sees Hanna, Hanna is surrounded by soldiers from the facility. There’s no way Hanna is completing her mission.
