Witches in the Woods

If you like horror, Witches in the Woods is something worth checking out. The movie follows seven co-eds as they head off on a snowboarding trip. Secrets are revealed, the past is explored, and there’s a dive into real historical connections and persecutions.

Don’t expect too many jump scares in this one. It’s more focused on the psychological horror.

Creepshow Season 1

For those who were interested in the Shudder original but didn’t want to get yet another streaming service, you’re in luck. Creepshow Season 1 is heading to DVD and Blu-ray this week.

There are six episodes to the season with two stories per episode. It follows the old-school Creepshow format, so perfect for fans of the original. Some stories are better than others, but isn’t that always the case with anthologies?

Finally, you’ll want to turn your attention to Watchmen. This limited series ran on HBO during 2019 and quickly received praise for its storytelling, cinematography, and more. Now is your chance to watch it all over again without the need of an HBO subscription.

You don’t need to have watched the movie or read the graphic novels to understand everything that’s happening. If you have, though, there are some great Easter eggs along the way.
