The second season is a follow-on from the first season but won’t touch too much on the original story. If you’ve never watched the series before, don’t feel like you have to play catch-up. The great thing is that the mystery is a standalone story, focused on “Jackie.”

“Jackie” wakes up in a boat with absolutely no memory of how she got there. Nor does she have a memory of who she is, including her name. She needs help figuring it out, but who can she trust? After all, everyone around her seems to be somehow connected to the conspiracy or are hinting there’s something more to who “Jackie” is as a person.
The only connection to the first season is Stephen James’s character, Walter Cruz. He was a patient during the first season, but there are things he doesn’t remember or things he can’t quite figure out. He wants to know what they are, and we follow him on a journey to put the pieces together.
This is certainly a series for those who love mysteries. It does feel a little more like an epilogue to the first season, especially where James’s character is involved, but it can be enjoyed as a standalone season. Now is the time to stream.
