Humans: The Complete Collection coming to DVD and Blu-ray in May 2020

If you loved Humans on AMC, you’ll be happy to hear that Humans: The Complete Collection is finally coming to DVD and Blu-ray.

While you can currently own the three seasons of Humans on DVD and Blu-ray individually, you’ll soon be able to own all three seasons together. Humans: The Complete Collection is coming to DVD and Blu-ray in May 2020.

There is some bad news that comes with this release. It means that Channel 4 in the UK has definitely brought the sci-fi series to an end. AMC isn’t picking up Humans Season 4, so all three seasons can finally be put together on one set.

The third season was released back in 2018 and there were talks of it being the last. However, with no official cancellation, there was always the hope that we would see the futuristic story continue. Now those hopes have been dashed unless it’s picked up as a reboot or revival in the future.

Humans: The Complete Series is available on DVD and Blu-ray from May 5, 2020. Of course, you don’t need to get the DVD and Blu-ray if you have Amazon Prime. All three seasons are available with your Prime membership for free. This won’t necessarily remain this way forever, which is why getting the DVD and Blu-ray collection is something to consider.

Gemma Chan stars as a synth, who has been created to make the lives of her humans easier. However, will these robots remain loyal to humans forever? Will there be an uprising that means synths will be outlawed? You’ll want to watch the three-season series to find out.

Humans: The Complete Collection has all 24 episodes of the series across six discs. The AMC press release doesn’t offer up any details of bonus features, but you’ll likely get all those that were available on the individual boxsets and there may be a couple of new additions.
