What’s coming to Amazon Video this week: April 21?

Every week, movies are released on Digital through Amazon Video and other platforms. What’s going on this week? Is anything available on Digital?

We’re used to getting movies on Digital right now. Amazon Video has become a hub for great entertainment while we’re stuck at home, with some movies releasing directly onto Digital since the movie theaters are closed.

Every week, we make a suggestion of Digital releases to check out. April 21 is a different case. We can’t offer suggestions because there are now Digital releases on Amazon Video this week.

Don’t panic! It doesn’t mean the world has run out of movies and TV shows. There are still some DVD and Blu-ray releases coming over the next few weeks. This is just one of those cases where we have a slow week for Digital releases. Usually, we’d have likely had a few but the movies have already been made available either to rent or buy through Amazon Video due to the coronavirus pandemic.

We’ll be back to normal releases next week. April 28 sees a mixture of content, whether you love action-comedy or a soulful movie.

It is worth noting that we are starting to see a slowdown with releases. This may remain like this until movies can release in theaters again.

If you are looking for something to watch this week, you’ll want to go back through the last few weeks of releases. We’ve had the likes of Bloodshot, Little Women, Impractical Jokers: The Movie, and much more released on Digital. There is something for all interests and genre preferences.

You can also check out the releases on Amazon Prime Video recently. Rambo: Last Blood, The Lighthouse, and Midsommar are among the movies released over recent months for free with your Prime membership. For those looking for a TV show, Tales from the Loop is excellent for sci-fi fans while Bosch Season 6 is an excellent addition to the season.
