You want to be able to own your favorite TV shows and movies on DVD and Blu-ray. What are the chances of Bosch Season 6 coming to DVD and Blu-ray in the future?
My gut tells me that this is pretty slim. There’s no reason for Amazon Prime Video to release the season on DVD and Blu-ray, especially not in the United States. There may be justification abroad, but with Amazon Prime Video now in 200 countries and territories, the justification there is dwindling.

Previous seasons haven’t been released in the U.S. We did get the first season on DVD in some areas, but then the show was made available on streaming services. As Amazon Prime Video has stretched to more countries, there’s more of an argument to keep the series exclusive.
By releasing Bosch Season 6 on DVD and Blu-ray, Amazon wouldn’t have a reason to encourage you to keep your Prime membership. Okay, there are a lot of other perks to Prime, but Prime Video is one of the biggest ones. With more streaming networks coming out, Amazon will want to keep as much exclusive as possible.
Sometimes, the shows and movies do make their way to DVD and Blu-ray. This is often linked to other studios being involved. Being a Prime Original and solely a Prime Original, it suggests that there’s no DVD and Blu-ray coming.
