Hands up if you were looking forward to watching the 2020 adaptation of Emma in theaters? Sadly, the theaters were shut due to the coronavirus pandemic. While the movie was available to rent digitally, there are chances that you’ve been waiting to buy it. If you’ve been waiting for the DVD and Blu-ray, there’s some excellent news.
Emma is heading to DVD and Blu-ray on May 19, 2020. While not available to pre-order at the time of writing this, it will soon be available. You’ll be able to land the Price Guarantee to make sure you only pay the lowest amount the DVD and Blu-ray drop to up to the release date.

There isn’t a set date when the movie will be available to buy on Digital right now. You can currently rent on Amazon Video, but it should be available to purchase by May 19 at the latest.
If you love Jane Austen adaptations, this is a version that you will want to check out. The story follows the same as the book, with Emma Woodhouse as the lead character. She often gets involved in matchmaking with some hilarious and disastrous consequences, and we get to see it all play out.
Audiences and critics have both enjoyed it. It is currently Certifed Fresh on Rotten Tomatoes with a critic approval score of 86%. Audiences aren’t as positive but still like the movie, giving it a 72% approval rating.
