When will Tales from the Loop Season 2 come to Amazon Prime Video?

Amazon hasn’t confirmed whether Tales from the Loop will be canceled or renewed just yet. There’s a strong chance that it will be renewed. For this post, we’re assuming that it will be as we look at when Tales from the Loop Season 2 could come to Amazon Prime Video.
Amazon Originals tend to take at least 12-14 months between seasons. With a full season needing to be written and filmed at once, 14 months is more common than 12 months. In some cases, we’re looking at 20-24 months for the new episodes.

A show like Tales from the Loop requires a lot of creativity and effects. This can often push the releases to the longer time frames. Should Tales from the Loop Season 2 happen, we could be looking at 2022 for new episodes.
This is especially the case with the current health pandemic. While new episodes can be written with virtual writer’s rooms, it’s not possible to start filming anything just yet. Businesses will need to go back to before we can even consider a second season.
Will Tales from the Loop be renewed? With any hope it will. The first season brought plenty of heart to a sci-fi tale. It offered a grounded approach to science fiction elements, which certainly helped to bring in more viewers. Even if there was an anthology set up, it’s all in the writing and character development throughout the episodes, even if most of them were bittersweet.
