You’ll certainly want to check them out. Acorn TV is excellent for all things British, Canadian, Australian, and European. There are comedies, murder mysteries, crime dramas, and much more. Some of the biggest additions include A Place to Call HomeMidsomer Murders and Murdoch Mysteries.

As for Sundance Now, it’s the home of a variety of genre TV. You can grab a Swedish restaurant drama that will make you think of Downton Abbey or check out great British limited crime dramas. Of course, the biggest addition has to be A Discovery of Witches, which will see the second season debut soon. Then there’s the first season of Liar, with the second season heading to the service soon.

You’ll need to use a code to extend the 7-day free trial on both services. Use FREE30 for Acorn TV and SUNDANCENOW30 for Sundance Now. It’s not clear if you can grab the extended free trial periods through Amazon Channels. They may only be available for those who go direct, but it’s certainly worth the test.
