What time is Luther Season 5 coming to Amazon Prime Video?
Luther Season 5 is heading to Amazon Prime Video very soon. What time can you binge-watch all four episodes to the season?
Luther Season 5 is finally heading to Amazon Prime Video. We’ve binge-watched the first four seasons and we need the fifth, right? Especially right now while we’re all stuck at home looking for programs to watch. So, what time can you start streaming Luther‘s fifth season on Amazon Prime Video?
This isn’t like Amazon Originals, which are released at midnight GMT and work in our favor in North America thanks to timezones. It’s unlikely that we’ll get the release earlier than the planned Mar. 23 unless Amazon is feeling extra generous.

Instead, the release is likely to be at midnight ET. This could mean a 9 p.m. release for those on the west coast, and I’m sure other timezones can work out the timing for the release. However, there’s no guarantee of this, and Amazon may hold back until midnight in your local area.
Luther Season 5 is certainly a season for the fans. It’s just as dark and gritty as the previous seasons, this time returning to the four-episode format instead of the two-episode format used or the fourth season.
During the fifth season, Luther and his new recruit, DS Catherine Halliday need to handle a series of monstrous killings around London. Each killing is more monstrous than the last, and they’ve surrounded by red herrings and misdirection. Our titular detective will need to face the ghosts of his past if he even wants to succeed with the case.
