When will Onward be available on Amazon Video, DVD, and Blu-ray?

Onward is the latest film from Pixar, and it stars Chris Pratt and Tom Holland. When can you buy it on Amazon Video, DVD, and Blu-ray?

Onward is the latest collaboration between Disney and Pixar. The new movie stars Marvel actors Chris Pratt and Tom Holland in the leading roles as two elf brothers who are determined to get a second chance to see their dad after he passed away when they were younger. They find a spell to bring him back, but it doesn’t work out the way they planned.

The movie is already getting rave reviews from critics. It has been called heartwarming and gorgeously animated. Pratt’s performance has also been praised for being particularly colorful and suited to the role. Octavia Spencer and Julia Louis-Dreyfuss also have leading roles in the movie and other actors like Lena Waithe, Ali Wong, and Wilmer Valderamma also lend their voices to the cast.

Update, Mar. 20: Onward is on Digital as of 5 p.m. PT/8 p.m. ET in the United States. It will come to Disney Plus on Apr. 3.

If you’re interested in purchasing the film on DVD, Blu-ray, or Amazon Video, you might be wondering how long you’ll have to wait to buy it. As a Disney Pixar movie, you can anticipate a three-month waiting period, as was the case with previous films from the company like Frozen II, Maleficent: Mistress of Evil, and The Lion King.

Onward should be released on DVD and Blu-ray by the end of June. As for the digital version of the movie, you can anticipate it coming out on Amazon Video approximately two weeks ahead of its physical release date.

You can already pre-order your digital copy through Amazon Video, but unfortunately, the physical editions are not yet available to pre-order.
