The Curse of La Llorona hits Amazon Channels through HBO this weekend. Find out everything arriving between Jan. 24 and 26.

Trying to find something good to watch on Amazon Prime Video this weekend? Well, sadly, Amazon isn’t adding anything new to its catalog but for those of you that subscribe to HBO with your membership, you can watch The Curse of La Llorona beginning on Saturday. Here’s a look at Jan. 24-26.

Amazon also recently added The Prodigy and Midsommar to its catalog and so you could have a mini-movie marathon of 2019 horror flicks. If scary movies aren’t your cup of tea, don’t forget to check out the heartwarming Troop Zero, starring Viola Davis and McKenna Grace. Amazon also added several new comedy specials to its roster from comedians like Ilana Glazer, Jayde Adams, Russell Peters, and Rob Delaney.

    If you’re a fan of The Conjuring universe then technically you’ll need to watch The Curse of La Llorona as it is part of the franchise — if only in the smallest of ways. It is considered the sixth installment in the horror film series.

    The film is based on the popular Latin American folklore of La Llorona, a.k.a. “The Weeping Woman.” Linda Cardellini stars as a mother desperate to protect her children from a malicious spirit who intends to steal them away from her.
