When will The Turning be available on DVD and Blu-ray?

The Turning is the latest adaptation of Henry James’ famous novella, The Turning of the Screw. Find out when you can buy it on DVD and Blu-ray.
Floria Sigismondi directs The Turning, a new adaptation of The Turn of the Screw starring Finn Wolfhard, Mackenzie Davis, Brooklynn Prince, and Joely Richardson. For those unfamiliar with the gothic tale, the story follows a nanny who begins working at an old estate in the Maine countryside. She takes care of two disturbed children and begins to realize that there is something dark and ominous about her new place of employment.
Unfortunately, The Turning appears to be a victim of the infamous January film slump. The movie isn’t faring much better than the earlier released horror movie, The Grudge and is currently sitting at a low approval rating on Rotten Tomatoes.

That said, audiences tend to be more forgiving than professional critics so it’s always best to see the films you’re interested for yourself before taking someone else’s word on it. For those of that end up enjoying it and plan to add it to your collection, you might be wondering when the film will be available to purchase on DVD and Blu-ray.
As a Universal Pictures movie, The Turning should have a relatively quick turnaround time. Previous films Black Christmas, Queen & Slim, and Last Christmas all only took about three months to release on home video. So the Sigismondi-directed movie should be available to purchase by April of this year.
If you prefer to buy your movies digitally, then you can expect to see the digital release two weeks before the physical.
