50 best movies on Amazon Prime Video: October to December 2019
There have been some excellent movies added to Amazon Prime Video in recent months. Some of those have since left, but here are the best four.
Every month, I try to add a new selection of movies on Amazon Prime Video to the list of 50 best on the service. This helps to clear out movies that are no longer available to stream with your membership and gives you the opportunity to check out new movies.
Admittedly, I’ve been slacking. Between October and December 2019, I didn’t add any new movies, despite there being some excellent choices added. Sadly, some of those have since been removed, including Gangs of New York and Ghost. Yet, there are still some that are worth checking out.

Eventually, the list will be made up of movies only available to stream for free with Amazon Prime. Right now, there are still some that have been removed or have been on and off routinely due to licensing agreements.
As for the movies between October and December 2019, there are four that will make it to the list. All four are Amazon Originals, offering something for all types of viewers and interests. Whether you want a political thriller or a documentary on China’s One Child policy, you’re covered.
These are the four movies that have recently been added to the list:
- The Report
- Brittany Runs a Marathon
- One Child Nation
- The Aeronauts
You can see where the movies have been placed on the list, along with other excellent movies to check out the next time you need something to stream. There are some excellent selections on Amazon Prime Video.
