Most sold Amazon books last week: The Witcher holds the top, Little Women rises
The Witcher’s The Last Wish held the top spot on the list of most sold Amazon books last week. Meanwhile, Little Women rose. Here’s the full list from Jan. 5 to 11.
What are you currently reading? If it’s anything like the list of most sold Amazon books of the week, we’re looking at the likes of The Witcher books, Little Women, and The Martian. Here’s a look at the full list from Jan. 5 to 11.
The Witcher‘s The Last Wish kept hold of the top spot that it claimed during the previous week. However, despite moving up the list of most read books, Blood of Elves lost 10 places on the list. It wasn’t the only book to lose a large number of spots, either. Tijan’s Enemies lost 11 spots, just clinging onto the Top 20.

There were some big moves up and some surprising new additions. Little Women gained 11 places on the list. The latest adaptation in theaters has certainly been an excellent addition for the new generation, and it’s inspiring to see the 19th-century novel not just remain on the list but gain places.
The Martian has arrived on the list for the first time. The Andy Weir book was adapted into a movie a few years ago, so I’m curious as to why it’s only just landed on the list of most sold Amazon books.
Another surprising new addition is Deborah Harkness’ All Souls Trilogy. This contains of all three books, starting with A Discovery of Witches. The first season debuted last year and the second and third seasons have been confirmed but we don’t have release dates yet. The timing is just odd for me.
In total, there were six new additions to the list with a reentry. Here’s a look at the entire list.
