Amazon Prime likes to keep as much content as exclusive as possible. That means avoiding the DVD and Blu-ray release. There’s this preference for you to keep your subscription service if you want to watch your favorite shows. And, to be honest, you likely have Prime for the two-day shipping, Amazon Music, and Kindle Unlimited, so Prime Video is often the extra bonus and you’re not going to get rid of Prime.
With the growing number of streaming services, Amazon will need to work harder to make Prime Video worth it in its own right. Keeping content exclusive is necessary.
The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel Season 3 is certainly worth your subscription. It’s extremely easy to binge-watch, but most importantly, it’s funny and heartfelt. This is a series that’s full of dramatic moments that will make you feel every emotion, whether you’re scared for particular characters’ fates or you just want to see Midge succeed. It’s also perfect for the time period set, reminding us of everything women faced for success and doing something not usually done by their gender.
While it’s not likely coming to DVD, you’ll always be able to watch it via Amazon Prime Video.
