Pokemon and more coming to HBO in December 2019

Pokemon Detective Pikachu is finally heading to HBO, so you can stream to your heart’s content. Here’s everything on HBO in December 2019.

If you only have time to watch one thing on HBO in December 2019, it’s likely going to be Pokemon Detective Pikachu. The highly praised movie is heading to the streaming during a busy month of the year. It’s time to look at everything arriving throughout this month.

Of course, Pokemon is high on the list. The downside is you’re going to have to wait until the end of the month to check it out. It’s released on Dec. 28, so it’s likely going to be the New Year’s Eve movie you watch with the kids. I know that’s what we’ll be doing!

Just before Christmas, The Sun Is Also a Star will be heading to the premium cable channel. While it didn’t get the rave reviews that it likely hoped, it’s one that you’ll want to put on as you’re wrapping presents.

For those who want a little action, the 2004 movie Van Helsing is heading to the service in December. This is a great movie for the family, full of laughter as well as thrills. Watch out for the odd jump scares throughout.

In terms of original programming, there are plenty of episodes left of current shows. Watchmen continues every Sunday until Dec. 15 and you’ll be able to tune into His Dark Materials all the way until the Monday before Christmas. The Mrs. Fletcher and Silicon Valley series finales also air during the month, on Dec. 8 to be exact.
