The BCR plot

First, let’s touch on the BCR plot. I wish this was part of an earlier season. I would have loved to see this sort of storyline grow more, have a chance to breathe. It did feel a little rushed and I didn’t feel much for the characters because I didn’t get to know them enough.

However, their ending was fitting. They’d got their own territory but had the threat of the American Nazi Reich. And some of the people in San Francisco weren’t all that bothered about the Nazis rolling in. They were willing to trade one oppressor for another.

The BCR, meanwhile, wasn’t interested in getting the country back together. The people wanted a homeland. Instead, they got an entire territory. There’s more to this story, right? There had to be a bigger plot had Amazon renewed The Man in the High Castle for Season 5. The writers did what they could.

In the end, maybe the group got what they deserved. They certainly fought hard and they wanted to do as much as possible without killing anyone. Blowing up the pipeline was more about stopping oil than going in all guns blazing on the Japanese.

However, it’s hard to tell with not really feeling much for the characters and the story just feeling unended.
