December is full of some excellent releases on Amazon Prime Video. Some of them you already know about, but there are many third-party movies that you’ll want to watch throughout the holiday season. Here’s a look at everything coming to Amazon Prime Video in December 2019.

Some of the notable arrivals are certainly going to be the Amazon Originals heading our way. The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel Season 3 is one of the first shows to arrive, and it’s one of the most highly anticipated. Midge is heading off on tour for Shy Baldwin, and that’s going to bring plenty of ups and downs.

Another major release is The Expanse Season 4. After being saved from cancellation by Amazon back in the summer of 2018, we’re finally getting the first season that’s purely an Amazon Original. The great news is we’re going into this knowing that there’s a fifth season confirmed.

And we can’t overlook the Amazon Original movie, The Aeronauts. Eddie Redmayne and Felicity Jones team up again to bring a story of passion, dreams, and faith. A balloon pilot teams with a meteorologist to help advance human knowledge.

Want a few third-party movies to watch throughout the month? There are some old and current additions to check out. Bumblebee, Wonder Park, and What Men Want are all heading to Amazon Prime Video in December 2019. When it comes to old-school movies, you’ll want to check out Footloose landing on the service at the start of the month.
