Ray Donovan returns for its seventh season this weekend. Plus, Amazon adds Creed II to its catalog. Find out what else to watch this weekend.

What are you in the mood for this weekend? Amazon has just added Creed II to its catalog. If you’ve seen the first boxing film that follows up on popular characters like Apollo Creed and Rocky Balboa, then you will surely want to add the sequel movie to your watchlist.

In fact, this weekend would be a great time to catch up on some of the great new movies now on Amazon. Angel Has Fallen is available to rent, and the heartwarming Instant Family should put you in a thankful mood for the upcoming holiday.

Of course, we’d be amiss if we didn’t mention the fourth and final season of The Man in the High Castle. Find out how the story ends right now.

Below are a couple of new choices hitting the streaming service this weekend if none of the above interests you.

3. Creed II (2018)

  • Director: Steven Caple Jr.
  • Starring: Michael B. Jordan, Sylvester Stallone, Tessa Thompson, Wood Harris, Phylicia Rashad, and Dolph Lundgren

Creed II is the follow-up to the successful first film of the same name. The entire cast is back, including Michael B. Jordan, Sylvester Stallone, and Tessa Thompson. Although Ryan Coogler was unable to return to direct this movie, likely due to some scheduling conflicts with Black Panther.

Creed II focuses on Apollo Creed once more, this time as he gears up for an intense fight against Ivan Drago’s son, Ivan Drago. Ivan is the man responsible for murdering Apollo’s father years ago during the events of Rocky IV.

2. Little (2019)

More from Amazon

  • Director: Tina Gordon
  • StarringRegina Hall, Issa Rae, and Marsai Martin
  • Available: Nov. 16 on HBO

Imagine what would happen if your overbearing boss, who is also a control freak, was suddenly reverted to childhood, yet remained in charge of your company? Little is a hilarious and heartwarming movie. All three main actresses are brilliant together. If you’re in the mood to smile this weekend, then you can’t go wrong with this film.

1. Ray Donovan: Season 7  Premiere

  • Available: Nov. 17 on Showtime

Ray Donovan is a little bit like Showtime’s version of Scandal, except it doesn’t live by the constraints of network television. The series is one of the cable network’s longest-running series and follows Liev Schrieber as the titular character as he “fixes” problems for the elite. Season 7 will see Donovan conducting his business for the folks of Staten Island, New York.
