Back in May, Amazon announced it would bring its popular channel add-ons to France. Now the Amazon Channels France details have finally been revealed.

In May 2019, Amazon announced that France would be the next country to get the ever popular channel add-ons. However, very few details were shared about the coming channels. Now, Amazon Channels France has launched and the full details are out.

For those who don’t know, Amazon Channels offers a selection of add-on subscriptions. They’re extremely popular in the United States, making it possible to lump the bills for individual streaming services together in one payment without missing out and without paying any extra. Fans get access to HBO, STARZ, SHOWTIME, and much more.

France won’t get all the channels that the United States does, but there are going to be some options. At the same time, there will be add-ons that the United States and other countries don’t get. Everything else works in the exact same way.

One of the biggest additions is going to be STARZPLAY. It’s not clear just which STARZ Originals will come to the service right now. In Canada, for example, Outlander doesn’t make its way to the STARZ add-on because W Network currently has the license to it. Right now, Netflix has the license to air episodes the day after they air in the U.S., so there’s a chance the show won’t be available through STARZPLAY just yet.

Viewers will also be able to get their hands on the MGM Channel, Action Max, Crime District, Mubi, Toute l’Histoire, and much more. Broadband TV News has the full list of add-ons coming to Amazon Channels France, along with pricing. The great news is that there’s nothing that will cost more than €4.99 per month (which is STARZPLAY and Hopster).

Everything else will currently remain the same as it currently is. There is a chance more channels will be added on at a later date, but for now, this is everything fans are getting.
