The Water Dancer held steady in the top spot of the most sold Amazon books last week. Here’s a complete look at all 20 books.

The Water Dancer by Ta-Nehisi Coates entered high on the list of most sold Amazon books during the previous week. All eyes were on it this week to see if it could hold onto that spot. It certainly did! Here’s a look at the list from Oct. 6 to 12.

While The Water Dancer is certainly a notable book, it’s also worth noting that third place was taken over by a new book, John Sandford’s Bloody Genius. This arrival and Ann Patchett’s The Dutch House jumping up five spots did mean that The Institute and The Testaments dropped two places each on the list.

The biggest drop of the week was Lethal Agent, which lost eight places. However, most of the big movement came from The Dutch House and Patricia Cornwell’s Quantum, which both moved up the list by five spots.

As for new books, five other new books made it to the list. A notable book has to be Body of Proof by Darrell Brown and Sophie Ellis. This book is an Audible Original, which means it’s only available in Audible form. Audiobooks are certainly growing in popularity and the weeks where Audible Originals make it to the list prove that.
