50 best TV shows on Amazon Prime Video: Victoria makes it to the list
The third season of Victoria was released on Amazon Prime Video at the start of September. The show is now officially on the list of best shows on Prime.
At the start of the month, Victoria Season 3 was released on Amazon Prime Video. It was a chance to relive the episodes after watching them on PBS Masterpiece, or just a chance to watch for the first time.
Despite being in the third season, the show hasn’t made it to the list of 50 best TV shows on Amazon Prime Video yet. That changes today. Check out the list to see where Victoria debuts.

Victoria has certainly taken some liberties with the past in moments, but that doesn’t stop it from being an enjoyable and touching series. The first season starts with 18-year-old Victoria learning that she is the new queen after her uncles’ death. It’s a shock to the system, but she knows that she has to take a step into proving that she can rule the country. After all, the only time Britain has had a successful queen in her own right up to this point was in the 16th century when Elizabeth I took the throne.
Of course, she’s in a world where men rule. Politics is governed by men and they don’t think Victoria has what it takes to be the queen she is destined to become. Then there’s the matter of her name, considering her name is German and nobody really believes that she could be a successful monarch with such a German-sounding name. I know, right?
The three seasons take us through her earlier life, with some focus on those around her. Right now, we’re up to when she’s married to Prince Albert and everything that situation throws her way.
