Where the Crawdads Sing held the top spot again on the list of most sold Amazon books, but what about the rest of the list? Here’s a look from Aug. 18 to 24

Where the Crawdads Sing by Delia Owens continues to hold the top spot on the list of most sold books on Amazon. However, there was plenty of movement throughout the rest of the list. Here’s a look at the most sold Amazon books from Aug. 18 to 24.

The second book on the list is a children’s book. The latest Dog Man story, which is by the same man behind Captain Underpants, jumped up 13 spots. This isn’t that surprising as more children found out that there was a new book in the collection.

That wasn’t the only big mover up the list. Greg Olsen, which was the only new book on the list of most read Amazon books last week, jumped up eight spots to claim third place this week.

Some new books also made it to the list. In the Top 10, Look Alive Twenty-Five by Janet Evanovich debuted. Just outside of the Top 10, a book that has a recent movie release makes its debut. Where’d You Go, Bernadette is one of the more popular books right now, which isn’t that surprising.

There were also some reentries on the list, including The Handmaid’s Tale. With the sequel to the novel coming out next month, this isn’t all that surprising. People will want to read before they get the second book. The Nickel Boys, The Overdue Life of Amy Byler and A Column of Fire were also reentries this week.

When it comes to the books moving down on the list, there are two notable mentions. James Patterson’s latest thriller, The Inn, dropped six spots. However, The Art of Racing in the Rain saw the biggest movement, losing 16 places on the list.
