The Game of Thrones sequels hang on to the Top 20 most read Amazon books during the week. Here’s a look at the week commencing Aug. 18.

The list of most read Amazon books for the week is complete again. Once more, Where the Crawdads Sing holds the top spot, with the Harry Potter books close behind. However, the sequels to A Game of Thrones grasp onto the list and we could see some movement with them out of the list next week.

When it comes to the Harry Potter books, there’s not much movement. Only the second book saw movement, back up a space to sit next to Prisoner of Azkaban. The seven books now take up spots #2 to #8.

That did mean a loss of place for David Baldacci’s One Good Deed. However, it was only one place, remaining in the Top 10 with Elizabeth Gilbert’s City of Girls.

Elsewhere on the list, there wasn’t too much movement. Gregg Olsen’s Lying Next to Me was the only new book on the list this week, surrounded by non-movers for the most part. Only A Game of Thrones jumped up one spot.

It’s at the bottom of the list where we see the most movement. Here to Stay was the biggest mover, dropping three places. The Silent Patient by Alex Michaelides and A Clash of Kings and A Storm of Swords by George R.R. Martin dropped a spot each, rounding out the Top 20.
