What to watch this weekend July 20-21 on Prime

It’s officially the weekend and it’s way too hot to be outside so here’s a handy guide for what you can watch on Amazon Prime Video instead!
This weekend is one of the biggest ones around for pop culture with SDCC going on. But a lot of us can’t make it out to California, unfortunately. Between keeping up with the livestreams and all the latest news, we’ve got some excellent selections on Amazon Prime Video for you to watch this weekend.
Beat the heat and stay indoors. Pick a new show, catch up on your favorite series, or start a movie marathon! July has been a relatively slow month for Amazon Originals but there’s still plenty of content on Prime Video for you to pick through!

Trading Paint (2019)
This sports movie stars John Travolta, Shania Twain, Michael Madsen, Kevin Dunn, and Toby Sebastian. Travolta plays Sam Munroe, one half of a father-son dirt car racing duo.
But then Sam’s son betrays him by joining a rival racing team. He decides to forgo his retirement and try and restore his championship status.
All or Nothing: Season 4
This sports-documentary series goes behind the scenes of some of the most popular football teams out there. You’ll get a special look at interviews from both players and coaches as you learn what it takes to prepare for a match.
Season 4 will follow the Carolina Panthers. You’ll learn about the transition going on right now with David Tepper taking over ownership of the team. Cam Newton also pops up quite a bit. Fans of the Panthers know he’s one of the most entertaining players on the team.
Trapped: Season 2
If you like foreign crime dramas then you should binge-watch Trapped, or catch up with the second season which just premiered on Prime a week ago. The series is an Icelandic mystery following Andri Olafsson, the chief of police in a remote town who is trying to solve the murder of a mutilated corpse discovered by a fisherman.
Season 2 focuses on a new mystery when a politician is attacked. Andri must return back to his town to discover what lead to the attack. But while he’s there, he’ll also have to contend with his messy family life.
Kung Fu Panda: The Paws of Destiny: Season 1B
Are you looking for something to keep the kids entertained for a couple of hours? Well Kung Fu Panda: The Paws of Destiny returns for the second half of its first season! The show is an animated cartoon series by DreamWorks Animation and an Amazon Prime Original.
The series takes place after Kung Fu Panda 3. It follows Po on a brand new adventure. They stumble upon a strange cave located beneath Panda Village and absorb the chi of the Four Constellations.
Time Freak (2018)
On Sunday, you’ll be able to watch this sweet sci-fi romantic comedy starring Sophie Turner (Game of Thrones) and Asa Butterfield (Sex Education).
The film follows Butterfield’s character, Stillman, as he figures out a way to travel back in time and win back his girlfriend, Turner’s Debbie, after she breaks up with him. As far as movies go, it’s not a bad way to spend an afternoon.
