Starz popular fantasy drama series, American Gods, is currently on hiatus until its third season. While waiting, check out these five other series.
Based on the Neil Gaiman novel of the same name, American Gods was initially developed by Bryan Fuller and Michael Green a few years ago. The first season debuted in 2017 to unanimous praise. It has earned multiple Critics’ Choice Television Award nominations and Primetime Emmy Award nominations.
The series begins with the character of Shadow Moon (Ricky Whittle) getting released from prison only to learn his wife, Laura Moon (Emily Browning), has been killed. On his way home, Shadow meets the mysterious Mr. Wednesday (Ian McShane) who offers Shadow a job.

The second season of American Gods premiered earlier this year after a three-year hiatus due to behind-the-scenes drama. But Starz has decided to renew the series for a third season.
No word yet on when the third season will premiere, but in the meantime, you should consider checking out these five other shows that are similar to American Gods in tone.
