50 best TV shows on Amazon Prime Video: Suits reenters the list with Season 8
It was only a matter of time. Suits Season 8 has landed on Amazon Prime Video and it puts the show back on the list of 50 best TV shows on Prime Video.
Towards the end of last year, Suits was knocked off the list of 50 best TV shows on Amazon Prime Video. It did remain as an honorable mention though. That’s because it was only a matter of time before the show found itself back on the list.
Now that Suits Season 8 is on Prime Video, it’s time to put it back on the full list. You can check out the 50 best TV shows on Prime Video to see where it lands and the other 49 shows worth checking out to avoid the overwhelm.

But why does it deserve to be on here? Well, Suits is an excellent legal-comedy-drama that shows off how to slowly build up to the major reveals. What started off with just two people in the firm knowing that Mike Ross wasn’t a real lawyer, eventually built to everyone in the world finding out the truth.
However, Suits Season 8 is special. It was the season without Mike Ross or Rachel Zane. Patrick J. Adams and Meghan Markle stepped away from the show after seven seasons and we got a full season without either of them showing up again — although, they were both mentioned. While they were missed, the show managed to bring fresh blood that helped to pick up the pace and keep the legal comedy on track.
While the ninth season will be the end (premiering on July 17 on USA Network), I don’t think it was purely because of Adams and Markle’s exits. No show can go on forever. Even the likes of NCIS and Grey’s Anatomy will eventually need to end! Suits is going out while it’s still great.
