June 2019 is a good month for movies on Amazon Prime Video, but what about TV shows? Here are the shows joining the 50 best TV shows on Prime this month.
Every month, Amazon adds new movies and TV shows to the list of those available to stream free with your Prime membership. June 2019 certainly sees a good selection of movies, but what about TV shows? Which ones will join the list of 50 best TV shows on Amazon Prime Video?
There aren’t as many new additions finding their way on the list this month. That’s mostly because there just aren’t as many TV shows being released in June. However, there are two Prime Originals and one third-party show that will make it to the list of best shows. In fact, one show gets to move up from the “honorable mention” that it currently is.

That show is Suits, which gets the eighth season this month, just ahead of the DVD and Blu-ray release date. The first season to not have Patrick J. Adams and Meghan Markle as part of the show, the showrunners found a way to keep things interesting. However, I will say the name of the firm is getting ridiculous!
As for the two Prime Originals, you’ll want to look out for Absentia Season 2 and Final Life Season 1. The former needs absolutely no introduction and I’m sure you’ll agree that it’s about time the show made it to the list of 50 best TV shows on Amazon Prime Video. The latter is a Japanese Original, which was released weekly on Prime Video Japan and is now available for U.S. fans.

- Absentia Season 2: June 14
- Suits Season 8: June 17
- Final Life Season 1: June 21
