Amazon debuted the second season of Fleabag in North America. Will Fleabag Season 3 happen on the service?
Fleabag Season 2 is now available in North America through Amazon Prime Video. It’s been everything we’ve hoped for and more, so now many are looking ahead. Will there be a third season of Fleabag on Amazon?
Ahead of the finale airing in the UK, Sian Clifford, who plays Fleabag’s younger sister in the series, shared that it would be the end of the show. The finale would wrap up the story in a way that is complete. Fans will come to accept that there’s closure to the story.

While that is certainly the case, that doesn’t mean we’re ready for it to end, right? It only feels like we’ve got started on the show. However, there is a saying to “leave them wanting more” and that’s what this series is doing. While primetime networks and streaming services are canceling left, right, and center or are run into the ground, some shows get to go out on their own terms.
Phoebe Waller-Bridge, who plays the titular character, has also previously confirmed that the second season is the last. However, that doesn’t mean it’s the end forever. According to an interview with Vanity Fair, Brett Gleman, who plays Martin on the series, says that Waller-Bridge (who is also the showrunner and creator) is like the Daniel Day Lewis and Jay-Z of showrunning. She will announce something is at the end and then come back.

As it’s partially a British production, there can be years in between seasons. People still come back for more. After all, there’s been two years between Fleabag‘s first and second seasons. We’ll be around in a couple of years time if a third season is confirmed.
