Fam: Is a new episode of the CBS comedy on tonight, April 18?

It’s Thursday nights and that’s been a new for CBS’ newest comedy, Fam. Will a new episode be on tonight? Here’s a look at what’s happening with the schedule.

For the last few months, Thursday nights have been all about CBS’ newest comedy, Fam. Starring Nina Dobrev, Tone Bell, Odessa Aldon, Gary Cole, Sheryl Lee Ralph, and Brian Stokes Mitchell, this has been the guilty pleasure comedy that you need to check out. So, is it on tonight?

Sadly, there is no episode of Fam on tonight, April 18. Last week was the season finale and Life In Pieces is taking over the 9:30 p.m. timeslot. There will be no more Fam now for quite some time. Hopefully it will return for a second season, but the network is still to decide on the show’s fate.

For the last 13 episodes, we watched Dobrev and Bell’s Clem and Nick got used to halving Clem’s younger half-sister, Shannon (Aldon) live with them. It was clear that living with Clem and Shannon’s father, Freddy (Cole), wasn’t going to work. However, that meant a lot of secrets were out, including the fact that Clem had lied to everyone, including her future-in-laws (Ralph and Mitchell), about her father being dead.

We got to see how Clem and Nick met, see them attempt to be the best versions of themselves while trying to reconnect with their younger days, and saw them finally get married despite everything seemingly against them in the end.

The great news is that you can watch the episodes tonight if you want. Because it’s a CBS show, all episodes of Fam are on CBS All Access, which you can get through Amazon Channels or directly. You’ll be able to stream the first season to your heart’s content.

Streaming through CBS All Access will be considered by CBS when it comes to a renewal or cancellation decision. After all, you’re paying CBS directly to watch the episodes.
