The Tick: Let’s TICK about the Season 2 trailer
Amazon released the trailer for The Tick Season 2 on Thursday. The action-packed trailer shows what we can look forward to next with our quirky heroes.
We finally have a trailer and a release date for The Tick Season 2. We have waited a long time for a new season, but the wait will be over April 5. And not only did Amazon give us a release date, but it also gave us a two-minute long trailer, jam-packed with everything we can expect from the second season of the show.
The trailer opens up with The Tick talking to Arthur about how now that The Terror has been defeated they still have work to do. And surprisingly, Arthur agrees. The Tick is excited.

We get to see Arthur in his Moth suit, while The Tick narrates over images of the city. New villains are coming, new heroes are coming. And A.E.G.I.S. is returning to the city, reopening their headquarters there.
Arthur is going to be getting some superhero training at A.E.G.I.S’s new local headquarters, and none other than John Hodgman has joined the cast to be the one running these training exercises. And even in the brief clip, it looks like his character is going to add to the comedy.
We are introduced to some new superheroes. Sage: The Super Numerary, with a weird tattoo around a nipple in the middle of his chest, is just one example of who we’ll be seeing in this upcoming season.
And then, we get our villain. And it’s someone we’re already familiar with. Ms. Lint is back, and she has a costume. And she’s ready to show the heroes who is boss. And I’m all in for this.
But it turns out Ms. Lint is just the beginning of the “spree-vil” awaiting The Tick and Arthur. There are some crazy looking villains coming into town to take on the influx of heroes.
Overkill is training Dot in combat, and that just makes me happy. I’m hoping that they have a lot of scenes together, and I’m looking forward to see where their storyline goes.
Superian is back and offering his help. Which then goes into a tease of a team up with all the other heroes, which I’m sure in true The Tick fashion is going to be completely hilarious.

And then after we get a quick glimpse at Dot in a costume, and The Tick declaring a huge fight with Overkill, we get our release date of April 5, which seems both so far away and so close at the same time.
