The Tick was the surprise superhero comedy that we didn’t know we needed. With a successful first season, we eagerly anticipated a second. And then we waited with absolutely no news. Well, The Tick Season 2 finally has a release date and it’s next month!
Tune into Amazon Prime Video on Apr. 5, 2019. Yes, it’s really that soon! In just over a month, you’ll be able to stream more of your alien lovable hero over and over again with new episodes.

There will be 10 episodes of the new season and all 10 episodes will drop at the same time. Amazon is sticking with releasing new seasons of Prime Originals on Fridays, meaning you’ve got the weekend to binge-watch the comedy — and yes, you’re going to want to.
While there’s a promise of new heroes and villains, the villain admittedly looks familiar if the trailer is anything to go about. However, that doesn’t stop us from being excited about the new season and this could be the “old enemies” in the synopsis for the season.

Plus, there are still new heroes and Arthur is more than happy to jump back in as the Moth. It’s time to get the team together to continue protecting the city. They’re just going to have a little bit of competition while they do it.

"In its second season, Tick and Arthur have freed the City from The Terror — now they must defend it from new villains and old enemies. That is if they can convince AEGIS, the government agency in charge of superhero regulation, that they deserve the job.
