There are a lot of exciting new shows coming to Amazon Prime Video Canada in March 2019. While there’s not as much as in the States, there’s a lot of content that you’re going to love, especially when it comes to originals.
The Widow is one of the most notable additions. Starring Kate Beckinsale, as Georgia, a widow who doesn’t actually believe her husband is dead, the series focuses on conspiracies, danger, and high-level stakes. Georgia is willing to put her own life on the line to figure out exactly what has happened to her husband.

And then there’s American Gods Season 2, which is released as a Prime Original outside of the United States. This is a special series for Canadians, as it’s filmed in Toronto and stars a number of Canadians, including Pablo Schreiber and Devery Jacobs. The season picks up where Season 1 (you’ll certainly want to rewatch to remind yourself) left off. War has begun between the Old Gods and the New, but which side are you on?
Just before American Gods is the release of another sophomore series. Tin Star finally drops its second season, bringing the story of a now-fractured family that finds its way back together in some of the most unconventional circumstances.
Still not enough? Get to the end of the month and Hanna Season 1 is released in full. After the exciting release of the premiere after the Super Bowl, you know you’re ready for the rest of the season.
