How to watch the SAG Awards live: Mrs. Maisel, Jack Ryan, and more nominated
The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel is up for more awards in the SAG Awards 2019. Jack Ryan, King Lear, and more are also nominated. Here’s how to watch the SAG Awards live tonight.
The 25th Screen Actors Guild Awards take place tonight. With Amazon securing a number of nominations, all eyes will be on whether the streaming service’s Prime Originals can walk away with wins. There’s certainly some competition, but we have faith, right? But how can you watch the SAG Awards live?
TBS and TNT are both airing the SAG Awards 2019. You can watch online or through your TV sets. Unfortunately, there isn’t a way to watch through Amazon but I’m leaving all the streaming details at the bottom of this to give you some options.

What’s important is the nominations. The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel is in three categories, Best Comedy Series, Best Actress in a Comedy Series, and Best Actor in a Comedy Series. Unsurprisingly, Tony Shalhoub is nominated and after the strength of his role in the second season, I’m hoping this will be a win.
The Best Actress category is tough. Both Rachel Brosnahan and Alex Borstein are up for the same award. Who will come out on top? Considering the SAG Awards are fan-voted, I’d actually put Borstein ahead since she did arguably have the stronger season, especially with the plunger sketches.
Meanwhile, John Krasinski is up for Best Actor in a Drama Series for Jack Ryan. He is definitely going to face competition with the likes of Sterling K. Brown (This Is Us) and Joseph Fiennes (The Handmaid’s Tale) up for the same award.
And if you’re a limited drama/TV movie fan, King Lear is up with Anthony Hopkins nominated. Darren Criss may take it for American Crime Story: The Assassination of Gianni Versace and Hugh Grant is nominated for A Very English Scandal but there’s hope that the King Lear adaptation was enough.
Then there are a few nominations by association. The Americans is up for Best Drama Series, which you can currently stream on Amazon Prime Video. Patricia Arquette is up for SHOWTIME’s Escape at Dannemora, which you can watch through Amazon Channels. And we can’t forget Krasinski’s wife, Emily Blunt, nominated for her role in Mary Poppins Returns.
Now with the nominations out of the way, it’s time to look at your live streaming options. You can see if Amazon takes the wins with the options below.
