Amazon releases new American Gods Season 2 trailer

STARZ has already released its American Gods Season 2 trailer, but now Amazon shares its own.

American Gods fans, there is some excellent news. The Prime Original (outside the United States) officially has a Season 2 premiere date and now a new trailer. Like on STARZ, it will arrive in March.

While the series based on the Neil Gaiman book of the same name is a STARZ Original in the United States, it’s released on Amazon Prime Video around the world. That means places like Canada, the UK, and Australia will need a Prime membership to be able to catch up on the goings-on between the Old Gods and New Gods.

The good news is you don’t have to wait too long. American Gods Season 2 is coming in March, just like on STARZ. However, you’ll have to wait a day.

The show will debut on Prime at midnight GMT the day after a new episode airs in the United States. That means the premiere is on Mar. 11. You can watch from midnight GMT, which could mean waiting a little later or getting it a little earlier depending on your timezone, similar to other Prime Originals.

Episodes are released on a weekly basis in the United States, which means you’ll get new episodes every Monday on Amazon. You can already catch the first three minutes of the premiere episode, which STARZ released shortly after announcing its Mar. 10 premiere date.

For those in the United States, you can watch the series with the help of Amazon. STARZ is one of the more popular Amazon Channels, allowing full access to the episodes, so you get them at midnight on the day of release. There’s no need to wait for the episodes to come to your TVs.
