Can you watch Supergirl Season 4 on Amazon?
Most TV shows are available to purchase on Amazon in digital form. Is that the case for Supergirl Season 4? Can you watch the winter premiere on Amazon?
The majority of TV shows are available to purchase on Amazon in digital form. In many cases, you can either get the individual episodes or buy a season pass. That used to be the case with Supergirl and was the case when Supergirl Season 4 originally began in October 2018.
However, things have now changed. With agreements happening elsewhere, Supergirl Season 4 is no longer available to watch on Amazon. You can’t buy the episodes in a season pass or even individually. It’s not clear why this has happened, but it is the case with every single CW show.

It’s possible that it’s linked to Netflix, which has exclusive rights to stream full seasons. However, that deal came in a few years ago and YouTube still has the episodes available for purchase. So, it’s possibly something to do with Amazon and The CW.
Something that is worth noting is that CBS shows are also no longer available to purchase individually. To watch them online through Amazon, you need access to CBS All Access, which you can get through Amazon Channels.

It’s possible that since The CW is a child network of CBS, the CW shows will eventually become available through CBS All Access. This may be getting ready for that if the Netflix deal comes to an end. I am purely speculating here.
This is certainly disappointing, especially since Supergirl Season 4, Episode 13 will feature an actor from Amazon Prime Originals Bosch and The Man in the High Castle.
The good news is that all CW shows are available through the CW App. This means you can watch them free the following day, which does negate the need to buy episodes on Amazon anyway. Well, except that only the most recent five episodes are available at a time.
