Ivanno Jeremiah and Georgie Henley part of HBO’s Game of Thrones prequel
Game of Thrones may be coming to an end but the world certainly isn’t. HBO already has a prequel planned, with Ivanno Jeremiah and Georgie Henley named in the current cast.
HBO’s hit show Game of Thrones is coming to an end in 2019. While that’s sad, we’re not saying a complete goodbye to the universe. The network, which is available as part of Amazon Channels, is bringing a spin-off prequel and now a number of roles have been cast.
STARZ’s The Spanish Princess is big talk for the Amazon Channel, but Georgie Henley is also going to be part of the Game of Thrones prequel. Also known as Lucy in the Narnia movie series, she’s already finished filming the first season of the STARZ Original, a followup of The White Princess, so there shouldn’t be a problem for the series.

That’s not the only Amazon connection we have. Ivanno Jeremiah, best known as Max on Humans will also star in the prequel series. The first two seasons of Humans are available on Amazon Prime Video, with the third likely coming available later this year.
Also joining the show are Toby Regbo (The Last Kingdom), Naomi Ackie (Lady MacBeth), Denise Gough (Colette), Jamie Campbell Bower (The Twilight Saga), Sheila Atim (Harlots), and Alex Sharp (To the Bone).
The Game of Thrones prequel will be based thousands of years before the start of the current show. That means we don’t get to see any of our current favorite characters, but there will likely be new characters we’ll fall in love with. It’s a story of the descent of Westeros into the darkness that it became, including the origins of the White Walkers.
If you love the backstories and the intricate workings of Game of Thrones, this is going to be a series for you. There’s no release date yet or details of the casting and roles, but we’ll bring it here when we do know it.
