What time is Informer on Amazon Prime Video?

Informer is the latest Prime Original to hit the streaming service. When will Informer be available to watch on Amazon Prime Video?

If you’ve been keeping an eye on Prime Originals, you’ll know that there’s a new one hitting the streaming service on Friday. Informer will release its first season. Now the big question is what time Informer will be on Amazon Prime Video.

For those who haven’t heard, Informer is the first Prime Original in January coming to the service in Canada. In the United States, it’s the second Prime Original. Originally a UK drama, Amazon picked up the rights to stream the show in North America.

Like all drops on Amazon, Informer will drop at midnight GMT. This should mean that the show is available a few hours earlier in the United States and Canada. However, because it’s only being made available in North America, it could be possible that the earliest it drops is midnight EST.

Beautiful Boy did drop hours earlier than midnight, with many fans excited that it was available “a day earlier.” So, it will be worth checking out Amazon Prime Video at around 7 p.m. EST to see if the show is available to watch.

The British drama is certainly going to be something you want to check out. Set in London, it all starts with Nabhaan Rizwan’s Raza getting arrested after his girlfriend (played by Outlander‘s Nell Hudson) overdosing. That turns into a threat of jail time and his mother being deported as an illegal immigrant unless Raza becomes an informant.

He’ll put his life and his family’s on the line to get his mother the legal documentation she needs. Just how dangerous could it possibly be?

Informer has certainly had some good reviews with a 71% Tomatometer reading on Rotten Tomatoes.
