Will HISTORY’s Project Blue Book be on Amazon Prime Video?
Project Blue Book premieres on HISTORY soon. Will fans be able to watch it on Amazon Prime Video? Here’s a look at the details.
Project Blue Book is the latest scripted series from HISTORY, following the success of Vikings and Knightfall. The question for many is whether the show will make its way to Amazon Prime Video to watch.
While you can get some HISTORY programming in Amazon Channels, the scripted shows aren’t part of the Vault. That means you’re turning to Prime in the hope of watching it if you don’t have a cable subscription.

There’s some good and bad news. The good news is that HISTORY does make its programming available to purchase. Project Blue Book will likely follow every other scripted show and be available to purchase either per episode or as a season pass. Six, Knightfall, and all others have been available in this method.
Episodes are available the following day. If a season pass is available, it’s highly worth grabbing that. It will work out cheaper overall and all episodes will be in your library as soon as they become available on the website. Otherwise, you can get the single episodes each week.
But what about those who want to watch with their Prime Video membership? Vikings, the flagship HISTORY scripted show, is available to watch with your Prime membership. Well, up to Season 5A is available to watch.
You still need to buy Season 5B if you want to watch it through Prime. However, this will likely be available through your Prime membership at a later date.
Project Blue Book could be offered in the same way. We won’t know about this until later in the year. The latest seasons of Vikings don’t get added to Prime until closer to the newer seasons airing, so Project Blue Book likely wouldn’t be added until towards the end of the year if there is an agreement between Amazon Prime and HISTORY made.
