Will DC Universe’s Titans Season 1 come to DVD and Blu-ray?
Titans was the first live-action offering from the new DC Universe streaming service. Will you ever be able to own the series at home? Will Titans Season 1 come to DVD and Blu-ray?
With the success of the likes of Amazon Prime Video and Netflix, other companies have decided to get into the online streaming world. DC Universe launched at the end of 2018 with Titans. Now that it’s over, many fans want to know if Titans Season 1 will come to DVD and Blu-ray.
It’s not 100% clear just yet. There are all sorts of reasons for the streaming service not to bring the series to disc but there are plenty of other reasons to see it made available.

Like Amazon, DC will want to make its streaming service unique and a good value for money for the subscribers. You’ll find that most Amazon Prime Originals don’t come to DVD and Blu-ray. This is to encourage those who want to watch the Originals to sign up to the service. DC Universe may follow the same pattern.
However, DC Universe has a limitation that Amazon doesn’t. It’s currently only available in the United States. There are going to be plenty of people internationally that want to see this DC comic adaptation. They’ll want to know what the hype is about, especially with it being picked up for a second season ahead of the premiere.
While some parts of the world will see the series come to Netflix, others won’t. It could be in DC’s best interest to release the DVD and Blu-ray, at least internationally.
DC could even choose to do something like Netflix. Some of Netflix’s biggest titles come to DVD and Blu-ray but in a way that makes you still want to subscribe. For example, Fuller House is only just being released, despite Season 4 now on the streaming service.
I’m keeping an eye on the DVD and Blu-ray release personally and will bring updates about it as soon as I know either way.
